Jina Choi is a renowned concert soloist, chamber musician, and orchestra player in the New York metropolitan area.

 

Since she came to the United States in 1996, Jina has performed regularly in various occasions.

 

She has given her solo recital every year not only in New York area but also in many other locations. She has played

with New York Symphony, Newburgh Symphony, Ridgewood Symphony, Budapest Chamber,

and Pucheon Philharmonic Orchestras.

 

She has also played as a chamber musician as well. Jina has held concertmaster positions in many orchestras

such as Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra, New York Symphony Orchestra, Newburgh Symphony Orchestra,

Rutgers Symphony Orchestra, Mannes Orchestra, and PMF orchestra in Japan, and Pucheon Philharmonic in Korea.

 

She has received many awards and prizes at Ewha-Kyunghyang competition in Korea, Korea Music

Festival Competition, Mannes Chamber Music Festival Competition, Yeum Chamber Music Compeition in Korea,

among others.

 

Jina has received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees at Seoul National University School of Music.

She also received her Professional Study Diploma at Mannes College of Music. She is currently studying at Rutgers University pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree.
