DAYS 1 – 4
Moscow, Russia
Upon your arrival in Moscow, transfer directly to your luxury
hotel. The next morning, begin your exploration of the city with
a tour of its great landmarks at Red Square, St. Basil’s
Cathedral, and the New Maidens’ Convent — a UNESCO
World Heritage Site. Descend into Moscow’s famed metro and
take a stroll along fashionable Arbat Street. Get up close and
personal with Russian art in the elegant Tretyakov Gallery.
Then enjoy a special early opening of the Kremlin where you
will visit the cathedrals where the czars were crowned and take
a private tour of the Diamond Fund at the Armory Museum,
where the bejeweled Fabergé eggs are housed.

DAYS 5 & 6
Vladimir, Suzdal & St. Petersburg
In Vladimir, Russia’s former capital, visit Uspensky Cathedral
to see the wondrous Last Judgment frescoes. Continue through
the countryside to Suzdal, a village of one-story cottages,
ancient cathedrals and monasteries. This quaint town also has
a Kremlin with earthen ramparts and a moat.

On Day 6, enjoy a tour of the highlights of St. Petersburg. Visit
Peter and Paul’s Fortress, located on Zayachi Island (Hare
Island). This was the first structure to be erected in the new city
of St. Petersburg by Peter the Great between 1703 and 1728.
Visit the Church of the Spilled Blood, and then take a special
after-hours tour of St. Isaac’s Cathedral. The third-highest
domed building in the world, it took some 400,000 workers
over forty years to complete. The Cathedral dominates the
skyline of St. Petersburg.

DAYS 7 – 11
Novgorod, St. Petersburg & Depart for Home
On Day 7, take a day trip to nearby Novgorod, one of the
country's oldest cities. Visit St. Sophia Cathedral, St. George
Monastery and the Museum of Wooden Architecture.
Back in St. Petersburg, enjoy a special early opening of the
Hermitage, the crown jewel of the city and the world’s largest
art museum. Enjoy an early opening of the Summer Palace of
Peter the Great, which was designed to rival Versailles with its
elaborate gardens and cascading golden fountains. At Yusupov
Palace, take a private tour of the cell where the notorious
Rasputin was assassinated. End your time in St. Petersburg
serenaded with music on a private cocktail cruise along the
city’s scenic canals.
