개인파산으로 부터 살아남는 방법

There are many reasons why people file for bankruptcy. It could be because they lost a job, their business failed, they became ill and couldn't work, they became ill and had over-whelming medical bills and, also, it can happen because they overspent and ran up their credit cards. Whatever the reason, they need to know how to survive the experience!

1

First, you need to realize that you have NOT ruined your life if you file for bankruptcy. In fact, bankruptcy is designed to help give you a fresh start. Although the bankruptcy will show up in credit reports for up to 10 years, it does NOT mean that you will be unable to get loans or credit for all of that time.

2

Second, this is not the time to blame your spouse, or anyone else, for your bankruptcy and other financial problems. Blame and anger will only cause your marriage to be at risk, as well. Instead, accept the situation and learn to work together to resolve it.

3

Third, contact a lawyer to walk you through the steps of bankruptcy. In most places, you will have to take an informational class, so you understand what will be happening. Use this as an opportunity to learn how you can make the best of your bankruptcy.

4

After the bankruptcy, you may be surprised to learn that YOU CAN STILL GET A CREDIT CARD, although it will probably have a low limit and a high interest rate. You can also get special auto loans and, eventually, a special mortgage (although interest rates will be higher for these loans). Also, don't forget that your current bank debit card can be used to order things over the phone, rent cars, make hotel reservations, etc., if it is the kind of debit card that has the Master Card or Visa logo on it.

5

To rebuild your credit after a bankruptcy, make payments on your rent, utilities, auto, and new credit card on time, and you can improve your credit rating more quickly. Paying late will set you back, once again. It is very important during this time to be scrupulous about paying your debts on time!

6

After your bankruptcy, if you do have to pay a higher interest rate on your new credit cards, auto loans, etc., ask for the rate to be lowered once you have made payments for six months to a year. Ideally, you should only use your new credit card if you can pay the balance off, in full, each month. Then, the credit card interest rate will not be so significant.

7

Use your bankruptcy as an opportunity to wipe the slate clean, and get a fresh start in life. Lower your monthly expenses until you feel confident that you can live on the amount you are earning. Have a positive attitude, and work hard not to repeat any mistakes you may have made in the past. Good luck!
