Enjoy a one-day journey through the beautiful countryside and vineyards of Central New Jersey during this scenic five-hour Bicycle Winery Tour.
The fun begins when you meet your Guide in New Egypt, NJ and get fitted for your bicycle. Once all of the introductions have been made and the group is ready to go, you will begin pedaling to the first winery for the day. Your Guide will stop periodically to point out historical facts and points of interest along the way.
Upon arrival, you will enjoy a tour of the vineyard and production facility, including the sprawling acres of vines, the tank room, and barrel cellar. Next you will sample different wines along with cheese, and crackers before riding to one of the local Fruit Farms where you’ll have the opportunity to shop for fruits, vegetables, pies, jams, or one of the numerous delicious delicacies produced on the farm.
Afterwards, it’s off to another local winery and vineyard where you will sample more authentic New Jersey wines as you indulge in a gourmet picnic lunch. So whether you are looking for a unique way to learn about wine or for a unique gourmet gift, this New Jersey Winery Tour is the ticket
Tours are approximately 16-miles, traveled at a leisurely pace on mostly paved roads with a few rolling hills. Top of the line comfort hybrid bicycles with storage basket, helmet, water bottles, water, and snacks are provided. Participants may also bring their own bicycle and equipment. Aside from all of the wine, participants will also enjoy a classic vineyard picnic lunch.
Participants are urged to bring spending money as you will have the opportunity to purchase wine and souvenirs during the tour.
All participants must be over 21 years of age and be able to ride a bicycle. Participants must bring a valid form of Government Issued Photo I.D. and are required to sign a Liability Release Form
